The CompactPCI CPU board available with the Intel® Core2 Duo processor meets the highest performance standards and, in combination with the E7520 chipset, manages data throughput with server quality. The PICMG 2.16-compatible CP601264 features an L2 cache that is twice as large (4 MB), a much improved internal architecture, and 64-bit Intel technology for increased performance over the Core Duo option.
Designed for bandwidth-intensive applications, the CP601264 provides hot swap and IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) support, and meets the highest standards for the management of high-availability applications. This makes this board exceptionally attractive to multiple markets, including highly sensitive, security-relevant telecom and datacom application solutions and, thanks to its robust construction, is also ideal for image-processing systems in medical technology (tomographs) systems, among many other vertical segments.
